Miri And Tammy

Miri Klements and Tammy Schoolcraft partnered together from 2016 to Nov 2021 as a team of Certified Medical Reiki Masters and Holy Fire Reiki Masters in Charlotte, NC to bring Reiki to Atrium Healthcare.  "We are passionate about sharing Reiki as a holistic  treatment to support the  healing process on all levels -  emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually." Everyone can benefit.  

Reiki at Atrium 2016 - 2021: 

• For 2  1/2 years, from April 2018 to November 2021 we offered Reiki to patients, parents, and staff at Levine Children's Hospital and the Atrium Pediatric Cancer, Blood Disorders and Bone Marrow Transplant program. We documented well over 5,000 reiki treatments to inpatient, infusion, and critical care patients during our tenure. 

• From 2019 - 2021 Miri was part of a study at the Atrium Pediatric Rheumatology Clinic to see if children could benefit from Reiki treatments and they did!  Reiki was found to be statistically of benefit for these children. 

• In 2018 we spent one year working in direct care with Inpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation patients, most of whom were recovering from Traumatic Brain and spinal cord injuries. 

• In 2017 we were the Reiki Practitioners in a Study to Find Alternatives to Opiates for Pain Management for Orthopedic Trauma patients under the direction of one of the leading Orthopedic Trauma surgeons in the country. 

• Additionally, we provided Reiki For Wellness Education and Reiki sessions to staff at Atrium-Main, Atrium-Mercy Hospital and other facilities across the system.
